Description:

The fastest to complete the first stage in Aragon was the German Tom Andres, winner of the last two editions, 2009 and 2010. The second was Swiss Monika Frauchiger and third Spaniard Iker Ozcoidi. Fifth was the Spaniard Álvaro López Cobo and seventh Kiko Vallespí. In the Nordic dogs category, the leader was the German Tamara Schlemmer, ahead of Lázaro Martínez and Jesús Martinez.

In this stage the musher meeting participants were advised to start with a team of 6 dogs in the case of the sleds because the snow conditions, and they run a double back and with a distance of just over 6km.
