Custom officials burn Narcotics, fireworks, and chemicals during a ceremony on the eve of International Custom Day.
The Pakistan Customs would also mark the occasion in a befitting manner. An official of Pakistan Customs said on Monday that the programme includes destruction of the huge quantity of contraband goods, including heroin, hashish, Indian gutka, liquor, popystraw, beetle nuts, pirated CDs, fireworks and DVDs, medicines etc at Neelum Point Hawksbay.
He said that on the occasion of International Customs Day the Directorate General of Training and Research (Customs) has arranged a seminar on January 26 at 5:30pm. The Customs officers who have demonstrated dedication in their work will be awarded shields and certificate for best performance.
