Dixville Voters Prepare To Cast Their Ballots
Voters were preparing to cast their ballots in the first in the nation primary in the tiny New Hampshire town of Dixville Notch, late Monday. But, while the Republican candidates have stolen most of the limelight during this year’s New Hampshire Primary, US President and a number of other Democratic hopefuls are also on the ballot. Tanner Tillotsen, one of the nine Dixville voters this year, said that he intended to back the President’s continued residency of the White House, but added that Republican, Jon Huntsman, had also impressed him during the race – not least for his impressive international experience. Tillotsen, the grandchild of the founder of the early bird voting tradition, Neil Tillotsen, said that his parents had urged him to use his independent status to vote in the Republican Primary, but that he was sticking to his guns and backing the President.
