Personal Statement

Zachary Alexander Bennett is an award-winning photographer currently located in Florida.

He is a graduate of the University of Florida and New York University with a B.S. in Journalism and a M.S in Business Management, respectively.

Zachary has photographed a variety of people and places. His experiences range from covering soul food Sundays at local churches in Florida to the mass deportation of immigrant children in Israel and Palestinian Territory.

Currently he works full-time as the North America publisher at Demotix, a breaking-news street wire. His freelance work has been published by The Wall Street Journal, The Christian Science Monitor, The Huffington Post, and Vice Magazine among others.
